"Cafe Kacao in Oklahoma City, OK"
Cafe Kaco is a Guatemalan restaurant in Oklahoma City whose breakfast is out of bounds. Nearly every meal is served with homemade corn tortillas in some form (except the french toast, which is A-okay!). Every breakfast dish has some sort of Mexican or South American spin on it that never fails to wow your taste buds. It has everything from the classic Huevos Rancheros to the Motuleno (Two corn totillas filled with black beans, topped with two eggs cooked to order, ranchero sauce, dry cheese, avocado slices and parsley, surrounded with corn tortilla chips -- I dare you to tell me that doesn't sound incredible) to the Tikal breakfast (Scrambled eggs accompanied with thin sliced grilled flank steak; Longaniza, Guatemalan sausage, served with refried black beans and fried plantains). Oh yeah, DID I MENTION THE FRENCH TOAST?!? Crispy french toast topped with whipped cream cheese, strawberries, apples, bananas and powder sugar that is all so fresh and so delicious...I'm not a french toast fan, and this stuff blew my mind.It's small, local and basically only open for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast was voted best in Oklahoma City by Oklahoma Magazine. It may not be the diviest, but it's a great, small-time spot that would be a PERFECT spot for Triple D. Guy, I beg you...please take Cafe Kacao to Flavortown (because it's basically already there!).
