The Lighthouse Restaurant at Lake Keowee in Seneca, SC
It’s a surprise to find such a wonderful restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Located on Lake Keowee which is outside of Clemson, SC. The specials are amazing. Their regular entrees are yummy. Chef Shep is self-taught. The staff are kind, accommodating, and the view is vacation worthy.

Chef Shep is self-taught. The staff are kind, accommodating, and the view is vacation worthy. The owners built a Lighthouse in the middle of the restaurant. Because it's on Lake Keowee (about an hour north of Atlanta on I-85), it has a Cabana that sits on the dock for boaters to come right on up and eat/ drink. The chef is self taught. Everything I have eaten there has been amazing. The specials are truly special. Chef Ben Shepherd is from New Orleans, LA originally. He brings that delicious NOLA bite to everything. The Lighthouse does Wine Tastings, Book Clubs, Whiskey Tastings. And, of course, because of its proximity to the lake, it has an area for weddings.
