Shirley's Cafe - Mancelona, MI
Guy, First off, love your shows on food networl, dvr and watch them all... I know you probably get alot of requests to come visit a restaurant, but I do have one for you. Its called Shirley's and its in Northern Michigan in a small one light town called Mancelona. Shirleys makes some of the best breakfasts, lunches and dinnners in town.... all the way from their omlettes and french toast, to their homeade breads, fried chicken, and pies (including a buttermilk pie, which is out of bounds)... I hope you can make time to come north sometime.. It is beautiful up here, and worth the trip.. Thanks for your time, Ryan

From a fan, Tsali Blackwater says: I'm sorry Guy, you are not the one that should be visiting Shirley's Cafe in Mancelona Michigan but rather Gordon Ramsey should be the one to visit and set these people straight on how food and a kitchen should be. Especially when the majority of it is brought in and not homemade as she claims. Sorry to say but don't waste your time or money taping a show on this place.
