"The Fremont Diner in Sonoma, CA"

Charlie Appelstein

OMG! You've got to visit the Fremont Diner in Sonoma. Not far from your neck of the woods.I travel throughout the country providing training to schools and agencies that deal with troubled kids. I've visited a number of the restaurants you've highlighted on your awesome show (I want your job!)After conducting a morning training for mentors in Sonoma a few weeks ago, it was suggested that I eat lunch at the Fremont Diner. Great, funky atmosphere. People lined up to eat in- and out-side. Absolutely scrumptious food. I sat at the small bard right next to where they cooked. Every completed dish was placed on a counter 4 feet from me. I was drooling.I had a delectable pulled pork sandwich. The fried chicken looked amazing. And they were baking biscuits and other amazing pastries right in front of me. I'm hoping to get more work in that region so I can head back. You should go there! Bet I'm not the first to suggest it.Love your show. Suggestion: Put graphics on the bottom letting people know where you are.

The Fremont Diner in Sonoma is the epitome of a dive on the outside bu The Fremont Diner in Sonoma is the epitome of a dive on the outside but wonderful people, a great vibe and incredible food inside. The smoked beef brisket hash is the only way to enjoy BBQ for breakfast. The sausage and baskets are homemade so you know the biscuits and gravy will be worth the drive from the greater Bay Area.
