This place is off the chain from his real Birria tacos to his crazy mac & cheese To even hamburgers he has hit all the marks even does wings on Wednesday and they’re phenomenal. Really need to check this place out please and thank you.
It is by far one of the best kept secrets in the area, an absolute gem. The food is amazing and so is the atmosphere. This little eatery is a must when visiting Miamisburg. The owner is polite, curtious, and always diligent to make sure his customers is satisfied. Great customer service!!
There isn’t enough words to describe how amazing the entire atmosphere is. Not only is the owner in charge of the restaurant itself, but he makes it a priority to involve himself with every aspect down to the customers! Not to mention, FIRE TACOS! Flavorful, beautifully represented, and priced perfectly. Take the chance, and see for yourself.
Best Birria hands down ! This man has built his brand and his business with one word “Flavor”! Time after time and social media post after social media post you will see this word over and over. The flavors that are In everything that comes out of his kitchen are out of this world! Guy, now is the time for you to come to our little Star City seated just south of Dayton,Ohio and try this amazing food for yourself!
Food is amazing, customer service is amazing, the atmosphere of his restaurant is a whole positive vibe. Most of all them tacos he sever don’t compare to ANY Mexican restaurant or taco truck around!
If there ever were a spot that embodies what this show is about, it’s Darion’s. This young man started with cooking out of his apartment and you went and drove to pick it up. I lived 20 minutes away and ate those bomb tacos in my car they were that amazing. He is constantly giving back to his community, has the best attitude all the time, and deserves all the accolades.
Darion’s restaurant has become a favorite spot for my family, my friends, and my co workers. You won’t find a person who’s been to More Than A Apron that doesn’t rave about it. I’ve supported Darion’s amazing food since he first started and have watched his business grow into the greatness that it is today. You truly can’t find this type of consistency in food quality + service in many places. His menu is constantly growing and he is always eager to make improvements and/or additional accommodations for his customers. If you want great food with an awesome and fun environment, you have to try it! You’ll be a customer for life.

This man has started his business from the ground up literally. He started local and stayed local. Everything he does is for his customer base and community, constantly giving back. He is an absolute role model and stand up guy to anyone that knows him. This place has birria tacos that are absolutely amazing, I must say the birria loaded fries are straight fire 🔥 but most definitely my new favorite place...you guys need to come check him out 👍
This gentleman has first and foremost AMAZING food! A drive and ambition to match. He is down to earth, incredibly talented and genuine. He cares about his employees and customers in an immense way. I highly suggest you venture out to this little gem and put Gem city on the map for a food destination.
This place is such a wonderful energy. From the time you walk in it’s nothing but smiles am good smelling food. The tocas are amazing an with every bite I was thanking the food gods from above. I would recommend this place to anyone, but don’t take my word for it come on down a have a bite for yourself. I promise you it worth it.!!!

This is the most motivated man in the restaurant business I’ve seen in so long ! He literally started at the bottom and just kept pushing! He interacts with all his customers and his love for what he does shows thru all his flavorful food !the barria tacos are the best I’ve ever had. I’m obsessed with the barría fries loaded with the best toppings! He helps the community and tries to come up with new ideas to do so .

Hands down the absolute best Birria Tacos around and the owner is legit. He has came so far and has worked so hard to get his own brick and morter spot in the community that he loves to serve. He is constantly looking to add hreat flavors to his up and coming establishment.

This place is so delicious! The mac&cheese with beef barria and jalapeños is the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. This young chef used to have 3 hour long lines waiting for him at festivals, and it was worth the wait!

It’s not just about the outstanding food, it’s about how much pride the owner puts into presenting a welcoming business. He goes out of his way to have a convo with each customer while serving high quality food. Give his delicious tacos and sides a try. You won’t regret them. They are out of this world and I’m a foodie just like the next. Give this man the recognition he deserves for the determination he serves people with.

I’d heard of birria tacos before but never got the chance to try them before trying these. I have no desire to try anybody else’s. The last time I ordered, I didn’t even wait to leave the parking lot before I bashed!! Literally drool worthy each and every time! AND he makes a BOMB ASS salmon Philly that is to DIE FOR!!! You’re missing out if you’re not stopping here.
These are SO SO good!! My husband went to CIA and can be a food snob and even he raved. Plus the owner is a total hustler, and a gem to the community.
Seriously this dude has flavor all figured out. He has hustled his way meal after meal and is building an empire of loyal birra taco fans. Oh and that Salmon Philly is mouth watering. He might not tell you, but chef Lewis is always giving back to the community as well.
Street taco truck just upgraded and got an awesome shop. Birria tacos made from scratch are to die for, but Chef Lewis makes an amazing Salmon Philly sandwich that just has to be tried to truly experience. Chef Lewis opened the shop a few weeks ago after touring the food truck rotations and got a huge following on social media. He had so much trouble opening his brick and mortar store because of the swarms of people. Chef shut down early every night of his first week because they ran out of food.

I have followed this guy as soon as I saw his food on Facebook! Myself, my sister & my best friend kept talking about trying his food.....especially the Birria Tacos. Covid restrictions & just plain life kept us from following to his locations. THEN it was announced he possibly found a home base to call his own, in a small town a few minutes away from us. I STILL couldn't get away to try his food when he finally did open that door!!! A few weeks ago, I had a chance to go & my best friend and sister were able to join me. WOW!! We ordered so much food that our table was full & we had leftovers to enjoy. Tacos (beef, lamb,chicken), mac n cheese, nachos & the corn!!!! It was so good that we ordered for the hubby dinners to take home as well. This little place is a tiny building that I passed 100's of times going to the baseball field for years & now it's a tiny place with a man that has fulfilled his vision....serving amazing food!! Oh, I hear they have some sort of open mic or music jams going on as well. Swing through Miamisburg, Ohio & check out More Than A Apron LLC. You won't be disappointed!!! YUM!!!
Chef Darion’s food is the ultimate flavor town experience!! From his birria tacos to his salmon Philly, the flavor doesn’t stop. His restaurant offers a number of delicious options. He and his staff offer much more than excellent food too! The atmosphere is always welcoming and the service is always top notch. The way that Chef Darion Lewis has built up this dream of his is really inspiring and he doesn’t lose sight of where he started by giving back to the community and giving others a chance to make their dreams come to fruition. I highly recommend that Guy visit Chef Darion at More Than a Apron here in fabulous Miamisburg Ohio. You won’t be disappointed!

Darion makes some of the BEST Birria tacos on the planet. He also has a wide variety of other foods on his menu. He has started from the ground up! He is thriving in his business, and I think GUY would love to eat his tacos!! TRY IT OUT! You won’t regret it!
Not only is the food good and different but the long range visionary of the owner is inspirational. If Guy ever needs a co-host this might be your man.
The best birria I have ever had. He also does salmon cheesesteak that everyone raves about(I don't eat salmon). The elote is amazing also. He gives back to the community and also let's others such as homemakers set up in his restaurant from time to time. You also ALWAYS see him present in his restaurant.
The best tacos I’ve ever had in my life hands down! I drive 45 minutes just to get these tacos. Haven’t tried many other things by him because I love the tacos so much but have only heard fantastic things about his other foods!

Not only does he make the best Birria tacos in the Greater Dayton area. He also gives back to the community. He talks to kids in our local high schools about being a business owner and the best way to achieve your dreams in the culinary arts!
The passion put into the Birria Tacos by Chef Lewis yield the best food experience I have ever had. The birria meat whether chicken, beef or lamb itself is amazing and cooked in a blend of amazing spices. Then the process of making the taco with a crusty and savory shell, perfect cheese and meat combo with toppings and consome that just adds to the experience each dip. The restaurant itself is awesome to walk into a dinner where people from all walks of life and parts of the community are enjoying amazing food. Not to mention Chef Lewis and more than a apron story is amazing. I use to stand in line for 2 hours waiting for birria tacos when chef Lewis started off renting a food truck to sell his tacos, he then raised money to rent a kitchen in an event venue to sell out of and worked his way up to owning his own restaurant and selling his amazing food. The crazy thing is all his food is good, his birria Mac is tasty and the wings would be the best wings in town if I would get them, but all I ever want is those tasty Birria Tacos!

Chef Lewis makes the best tacos I have ever had in my life. I have tried so many other birria tacos in an attempt to find something close but nothing comes remotely close to them. He’s also an amazing guy who gives back to the community. I would love to see him get the recognition he deserves and works so hard for.

Such a friendly and inviting atmosphere . It’s my comfort food , I love being able to walk into a place and know that whatever I order on the menu is about to be delicious . The restaurant is always clean and the vibe is amazing . On top of that Chef Lewis usually has a local baker from the area selling handmade desserts . The desserts are always 10/10 as well . You can tell that the food is made with love here .

Best briria tacos, briria loaded fries, briria Mac an Cheese, briria nachos, Salmon Philly Cheesesteak. Wings on Wednesday and Thursday. Fresh ingredients everyday. Great atmosphere and excellent customer service, great team work in the kid. Always laughing and enjoy doing their jobs.
