best bbq in tennessee!
This dude started a food truck after years of being a manager in the chain restaurant biz. He slung brisket and fixing for a couple years and finally got into a brick and mortar. So good!
This place is delicious. It has great BBQ and is veteran owned. The brisket is delicious and my favorite menu item. I think Guy Fieri would love this place

the flavor and tenderness of this barbecue is unmatched! and they have some wonderful unique flavor combos like the front porch burger and redneck taco.

Charlie was originally working out of a food truck making awesome BBQ, the redneck taco is the $h!t. There was a place that had been several restaurants before that started tailoring to small venue musicians, mostly local military vets and guest chefs. Then Charile comes along and before you know it, he buys the restaurant, still helps the veteran community and makes some amazing BBQ...and the redneck taco is still the $h!t!
Charlie is such a great guy and his dream and vision for his restaurant are perfect for what Triple D is all about. He is building community through the perfect plate of BBQ, working to provide a great and consistent customer experience.
Charlie is a great guy supports veterans and also has some pretty damn good BBQ. And he's been trying to get Guys attention for a while now. He deserves it
In a State where real Texas style BBQ is sorely lacking Single Tree BBQ is the lone light in Middle Tennessee...specifically Murfreesboro. His brisket is delicious and when included as a topping on his custom grind burgers...Nirvana! His pulled pork is some of the best around and his sides all compliment the meals he serves. He's smoked whole pigs his skills rival nationally known spots I have enjoyed! Not only is the food excellent here, but Charlie, Sara, and his staff are active in the community. He supports the Veterans community by hosting cookouts, BBQ parties, and bringing PTSD and suicide awareness to the forefront. Here's a small town family doing great things in Murfreesboro and totally deserve a visit from you Guy. If you need a ride from the airport or a place to stay...mi casa es su casa!
I have never been a fan of Pulled pork, brisket, etc. but after trying Charlie’s pulled pork I couldn’t stop eating it. His Mac n cheese is drinkable it is so good. When he concocted the Boro brisket melt (grilled cheese with brisket and Mac n cheese) my taste buds exploded. I didn’t get to finish it because my son stole the other half. You must come out and meet Charlie and see why all of Murfreesboro loves him a d his BBQ
Not only is their story amazing, but their food is to die for!!!!!! The brisket is AMAZING!!!!! The bologna is AMAZING!!!!!! We first found Single Tree as a food truck at a local craft brewery and now they have a brick and mortar. You won’t be disappointed if you visit!!!!
