It's a very old dive bar with ~10-15 tables and cash only. It's open till 3 every night and always packed with a very diverse crowd. While everything on the menu is great, the wings are the highlight. They often show up on best wings lists, especially the Hot (Buffalo) Teriyaki mix, and are a Westchester County institution.
Candlelight Inn This place is an easter egg located right at New York at 519 Central Park Ave, Scarsdale, NY 10583. When I first came here with friends who loved this place I thought we were picking up ANOTHER FRIEND. I was wrong, I was at a low key restaurant about to have the best hot teriyaki wings my mouth has ever tasted - well the first but still its delicious wings. They have hot, mild, garlic parm which is to die for but you have to try those hot teriyaki wings with the ranch. They also have the most amazing waffle fries, smothered in your choice of cheese and a delicious chunky homemade brown gravy on the side for dipping. I recommend the waffle fries with the mozzy and gravy. Their best sellers are the fries, the wings and the chicken bites. I have also had their burgers and ribs. Its a true gem and I'd love for this place to be checked out. It is my absolute favorite place not just because the food is AMAZING but because this is a lesson you cannot judge its book by its cover. Candlelight is two houses side by side. The house on one side is the cozy eat in side that opens up to outdoors in the warmer season to handle the hungry community and passers by the other house is the take out side which is genius. What is the chances? Two houses turned into the best place cranking out wings in a suburban city of scarsdale minutes away from a casino. Please check it out!!
THE BEST WINGS IN WESTCHESTER, NEW YORK! Guy, please check out Candelight Inn in Scarsdale, New York! I always wait patiently for 2 hours just for the best chicken wings. I always get the mild chicken wings paired with their delicious waffle fries! This is a must see in Westchester, New York! Jonathan Cheban from Keeping Up With The Kardashians also stops here a lot, and has recommended it to the E! Network family. Always a crave for some Candelight Inn wings and definitely worth the wait!
