Hoda's in Portland, OR
For more than 25 years, Hoda's Lebanese Restaurant has been serving authentic Lebanese cuisine and bringing people together through family recipes, tradition, and genuine hospitality. Since opening in 1999, Hoda's has become a beloved local institution, where every dish reflects generations of Lebanese cooking and a passion for sharing our culture. They are not corporate restaurant or a trendy concept—it's a true family business built on hard work, resilience, and incredible food. Today, the restaurant continues to be run by the same family, same location and I'm proud to say it's my fiancée's family restaurant. Hoda's has become part of life's biggest moments in our community. In addition to welcoming guests into the restaurant every day, they cater countless weddings, family celebrations, community gatherings, and even funerals—providing comfort, connection, and home-cooked Lebanese food during both joyful occasions and difficult times. For many families, Hoda's has become a tradition that spans generations. From hand-rolled grape leaves and freshly baked pita to perfectly seasoned shawarma, creamy hummus, crispy falafel, and house-made desserts, everything is prepared from scratch using recipes that have been passed down through the family. Guy has featured incredible family-run restaurants with heart, and Hoda's embodies exactly that. It's a place where every guest is treated like family, friend, every recipe tells a story, and every meal is made with pride. After serving the community for over 25 years, we would be honored to welcome Guy Fieri to Hoda's Lebanese Restaurant and share our family's story—and our food—with viewers across the country.
