Tanglewood Fire and Smoke in Folsom, PA

Hey Guy! My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant four years ago when we were having our kitchen renovated and couldn’t cook for three months. The owner Jeff Ebert had just opened Tanglewood in a nearby strip of stores, and he was getting some good reviews on a local facebook page. From the moment we walked in, we felt like family. Not just us….everyone. This man puts his heart, soul, and foot into every item he makes. He smokes his meat every afternoon around 4pm, and goes back to the shop at 7am the next day to take them out. His innovative approach to food along with his dedication to his craft is evident in everything he makes. I’m here to tell you, he is the real deal. Melt in your mouth brisket….pulled pork sandwiches you have to unhinge your jaw to eat….burgers that make you eat until you have to publicly and shamelessly unbutton your pants. Succulent homemade sauces that achieve Beach Towel status, but you continue happily face-humping every damn dish. Please come by and see for yourself next time you’re in the Philly area. My husband and I will gladly join you, and even take you to a local shitty bar for drinks afterward. Love you, buddy… hope to hear from you soon.
