Papa Diesel’s is the best BbQ spot in the Orlando area. Diesel was a high school football coach/ mentor at a local High school, where he started a food truck that he would do on the weekends. He would actually park in the parking lot of the school. Then he started doing local farms and food truck nights and he just continued to grow. He finally got a brick and mortar, and it is as amazing as ever. The ribs literally fall off the bone, and for sides he specializes in gouda Mac n cheese and the Brussel sprouts. Everything is good, but you can’t come and not try the loaded baked potato or diesel fries… and end the meal with homemade cakes and desserts from his mom. It is the perfect example of a family run business with even his little girls helping fill drinks and bus tables. You have to come try Papa Diesel’s in Altamonte Springs, FL.. outside of Orlando.
