ACES BBQ & GRILL in Mission, TX
ACES is a true BBQ joint! We smoke the meats in-house and use the wood from the facility. We specialize in smoked meats and bad ass Sammies! We also make our own BBQ sauce, rubs, pickles, & chips. The restaurant/bar is located inside the clubhouse building @ Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort. We repurposed the golf course (we'll call it ball golf cause we are total disc golf nerds) that had closed down. To a pay to play disc golf complex. Currently 4 different 18 hole courses(5th coming soon) sitting on 390 acres of amazing pacific northwest awesomeness. We cure our own bacon, and smoke everything in house! Holy trinity smoke brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. Make our own sauces from scratch(not from ketchup or simply dilute someone else's bbq sauce). Plans to start selling them by the bottle, or 6-pack, or even in growlers! As we hope to put our BBQ sauce on tap, just like our tasty micro beers we currently have. All our rubs were created in house and eventually will also sell them to go. Pickles made in house, and also eventually will sell jars to go. We have a great selection of not only hot Sammys that we use ALL our smoked meats sliced and combined with fresh ingredients with catchy disc golf names grilled to perfection on the panini press, for grab and go. But also cold Sammies in the pro shop, for those who are always on the go (or late for their tee time and always keeping their friends waiting). We truly offer something unique, and are located in the most beautiful settings. Perched up on a hill overlooking the puget sound and on clear days can Catcha glimpse of the olympic mountain range from the dining area, or outside patio. I have spent many years in restaurants and am proud to say that most everything here is created from scratch and made in-house. We are the best kept secret in this region. We have had some great reviews from loyal followers and are constantly getting more and more new folks trickling in, to see what all the hype is about. We would love to share this story to the masses, and would love for Guy Fieri to take a trip and hopefully venture into flavor town!! I was talking to my kid about this and he said we should turn this place into flavor town for a festival! (which IS a great idea, and I was proud to here this ...don't know where he gets it..but yeah). Obviously we would only do this with your permission Guy, as your the OG and creator of the namesake..but how cool would a pop up themed food festival/carnival be ? Imagine some bagel looking ferris wheels, or hot dog roller coasters...hamber bun bumper cars...ok, I'll stop , as I feel like I am giving too much away her, and you might just run with this yourself..anywho we definitely HAVE the space...so even if an episode of triple D isn't possible..maybe think about something bigger? I have some great ideas, and always looking for help with collaborators and believers to take things to the next level. I am always thinking much larger than me, or life. The food is the best I have ever eaten. The service is great, the view is amazing and very friendly and casual atmosphere. This disc golf course rated 30th in the world you will like d it!!!
Aces BBQ & Grill not only delivers great food but the owner/chef is a character worth the trip all alone. And how many restaurants have you been to at a disk golf course? Only one for me. I think it would be a great episode full of great food and a a great character.
