Ting’s Filipino Bistro – Kansas City, Missouri Ting’s Filipino Bistro is a small, family-owned restaurant in the heart of Kansas City, and we would love the opportunity to share Filipino food, culture, and our story with Guy Fieri and the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives crew. Filipino food is all about bringing people together. It’s bold, comforting, flavorful, and deeply connected to family. At Ting’s, we want every person who walks through our doors to feel like they’ve been welcomed into our home. We’re a small family business, and every day we are working hard to build something that represents our culture while becoming part of the Kansas City community. We aren’t a huge restaurant with a big corporate budget—we’re real people who put our hearts into the food and the experience we give our customers. What makes Ting’s special is the opportunity to introduce people to Filipino dishes they may have never tried before while also giving people who grew up with Filipino food a little taste of home. Our menu includes Filipino favorites such as Chicken or Pork Adobo, Sinigang and Lumpiang Shanghai, along with our own touches and recipes that make Ting’s ours. We think Ting’s would be a great fit for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives because Filipino food is still relatively new to many people in Kansas City, and there is so much story behind the food. There’s the cooking, the family traditions, the culture, the flavors—and the people behind the restaurant. Delicious Filipino food in a classic KC location! Definitely a must visit type of place
I’ve know Theresa for years and cooking is her passion. While vacationing in Miami we spent the entire day at the beach and she came back to the house and made Chicken Adobo for everyone. To this day it was one of the best I’ve ever had!! Her Filipino roots shine through in every dish!!
This bistro serves quality and best asian food. Great service and crews, Boss Carlos and Ms Theresa.
The food is excellent and we have plenty of regulars. We got voted #1 in Kansas City. I also wanted to add that Carl Ruiz and I grew up together. He was a very dear friend. Guido and I met at his funeral.

Tings Filipino Bistro in KC needs to be seen and acknowledge . Their best “Silog” meals is worth a visits . A Filipino comfort food for everyone.
Ting (the owner) is a true American hustler story. She uses her Grandmother's recipes to bring traditional Filipino food to us here in Kansas City. We love having cultural options for food here in the Midwest. I have eaten the Adobo Chicken so many times I cannot even count. They continue to uplevel their menu over the years, while their Lumpia is a staple of the City Market in downtown KCMO.
I absolutely love this place, it has become one of my all time favorite places to eat in kansas city, I've gotten to know Teresa the owner and she's become a pillar of our community, you will NOT be disappointed.
