Thai Delight Restaurant in Springdale, AR, USA

It’s a small mom and daughter spot. Honestly the best Thai food I’ve ever had. My wife and I come every Sunday regularly. All her food is fresh, flavorful, and my goodness are they friendly. The fact that it’s a mother and daughter just whipping it up in the kitchen is so great and they really try to commit to the food staying traditional.

Guy, you need to come to Thai Delight in Springdale, Arkansas! From the outside, Thai Delight is a small, unassuming restaurant. But step inside and you’ll find something special: a mother-and-daughter team serving incredibly authentic Thai food that has built a huge following in Northwest Arkansas. Mama is in the kitchen cooking, while her daughter Connie welcomes guests, takes care of everyone and helps guide people through the menu. That personal connection is one of the things customers talk about over and over. People don’t just feel like they’re eating at a restaurant—they feel like they’re being welcomed into someone’s home. And then there’s the food. Thai Delight has hundreds of glowing reviews, with customers repeatedly describing the food as authentic, fresh, homemade and full of flavor. What’s especially impressive is how often people who have traveled to or lived in Thailand say the food reminds them of what they ate there. The menu is packed with dishes that would be perfect for DDD: Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pad Kra Pao, Massaman curry, green curry, pineapple fried rice, Tom Kha, garlic chicken, spring rolls and mango sticky rice. But the spice is where things get REALLY interesting. When Connie asks how spicy you want your food, listen carefully—because Thai Delight brings real Thai heat. Reviewers repeatedly warn that their spice levels are much more serious than the typical Americanized Thai restaurant. That sounds like a Guy Fieri moment waiting to happen. What makes Thai Delight even more special is that people are willing to drive long distances just to eat there. The restaurant is small, but it has developed a loyal following far beyond Springdale. Reviewers talk about arriving early because the place fills up quickly, and many say they would make the drive again just for the food. That’s why I think Thai Delight belongs on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It’s not flashy. It doesn’t need to be. It’s a small family-run restaurant where Mama cooks incredible food, Connie makes everyone feel welcome, and customers leave already planning their next visit. Come to Springdale, meet Connie and Mama, try the Pad Kra Pao, Pad Thai or Massaman curry—and whatever you do, don’t underestimate that spice!!! Thai Delight is exactly the kind of hidden gem that deserves to be discovered.
