Depot Bar & Grill in Springfield, TN, USA

This is a small diner in Springfield, T.N. The Depot Bar and Grill. Definitely one of a kind. It’s next to the railroad tracks, with comfort food and the southern hospitality atmosphere that we are losing today. It is a rustic historic building for it was built in 1922 as a grocery store but the Depot was opened in 2003. The food is large in portions and if you want home cooked meals this is the place to go. When you live out in the middle of the country we are so grateful to have the Depot so we have a great restaurant without going 30 minutes into town and or fighting Nashville traffic. With how fast the service and the large portions of food you’d think it would be impossible to have a 5 star rating but not with the Depot. That’s one thing you have to know about us country folk, when it comes to comfort food and home cooked meals we know what tastes the best and the Depot is spot on. To 5 star rating and country folk approval I hope you come check out The Depot Bar and Grill. (Also it’s pronounced Depo, the T is silent I don’t know why).
