Geraldine's Counter Restaurant in Seattle, WA, USA
This has been an anchor business and helped build a neighborhood. It was over 20 years ago they started and have a line out the door no stop. One of the owners recently passed away and his partner quit a corporate lawyer job to join the business. The food is amazing and the community is even better. The owners care for their employees and really take care of them even having gifted some percentage of ownership to chefs and longtime employees.
