Guy, come see what’s brewing in Southern Oregon! We’re Travis and Amanda, the husband-and-wife owners of Oregon Mountain Coffee Company in Medford, Oregon. We bought an existing coffee business and poured ourselves into turning it around, with a goal of building a globally recognized coffee brand while keeping our neighborhood shop at its heart. We roast our own specialty coffee and make our baked goods in-house using organic ingredients and no industrial seed oils. Our kitchen serves up creations like a 110 year old revamped family recipe for our cinnamon brioche rolls, croissant French toast bake, homemade sausage loaves , and yogurt loaves. There’s plenty for Guy to taste, and plenty of hands-on work to show—from roasting beans to baking and pulling espresso. This year, our first time entering the Global Coffee Awards for the United States and Canada, we earned six recognitions: one silver, two bronze, one honorable mention, and two finalist placements. We also won Best Coffee in the Best of Southern Oregon, and we’re now entering Golden Bean Americas. But the story goes beyond the awards. We’re raising and homeschooling our three boys while working together to grow this business. Travis’s background as a certified primal health coach helped shape our approach to ingredients, and we’ve built the shop around food and coffee we’re proud to serve our own family.
