Lalibela is an Ethiopian restaurant in Omaha Nebraska. It is a small family-run shop that has been serving the Omaha community for over 10 years. The ladies who cook in the kitchen immigrated to America from Ethiopia. The food is all made from scratch and tastes incredible. My family grew up eating beef 5 to 6 days a week, but when I took my parents there, we ordered the vegetarian sampler. The food was so delicious that even this carnivorous family polished off the platter. I would highly recommend you try this place when you are in town, even if it does not make the show. The menu is not diverse but all the items are delicious. We also ordered the combination platter and spiced tea. and we also consumed all of the combination platter and could not get enough of the homemade spiced hot tea. The injera was incredible as well, very light and fluffy but full of flavor.
