My absolute favorite...Jimmy Joe's Texas Kitchen & Bar - we've gone multiple times in a week and go several times a month, driving 40 minutes because it is that awesome! It is a cajun seafood and mexican food fare full of flavor. They respect all meat they serve prepping it and cooking it perfectly. There isn't anything I've had that I didn't like. They think of everything...even the broccoli is nicely buttered and perfectly cooked. Their white rice is even lightly seasoned and nice and fluffy. Their chicken fried steak is a wonderful selection of meat battered well and served with gumbo cream gravy...and you'll need a to-go box because it's giant! They serve deliciously soft cornbread muffins with a lightly seasoned jalapeno whipped butter that is to die for. The macho burger is one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. The meat is juicy and loaded with flavor. Today I had the Tejano grilled chicken and OMG!!!!!!! The chicken was juicy and flavored well! The atmosphere is lively but also chill. Service is always superb! This is by far my favorite restaurant.
