Recommendations for Diners, Drive-ins and Dives

Gusto Napoletano Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria in Fayetteville, NC, USA

Owner/Chef Nadia Minniti is a native of Naples Italy. Her recipes are made from scratch and cooked to order using recipes passed down from her mother, her aunts and Nonna. She has the only actual wood fired pizza oven in town, an oven that was built in Italy and brought over via ship to the USA. Fun fact about the oven, it is named Sophia after Sophia Loren who was also from Naples Italy…both are hot! The pizza is actually cooked at approximately 900° and is done in 90 seconds just like it is done in Italy. Gusto has maintained a 100% sanitation rating. This restaurant is truly a taste of Italy without having to buy a plane ticket. Pasta, sauces and desserts are made by hand from scratch in house so you get that amazing flavor and texture in every bite. Chef sources locally for meat and produce whenever possible and orders many ingredients straight from Italy. They offer great Italian wines that you cannot get anywhere else in town. Seating is as it is in Italy with a couple small tables and two large community tables where strangers become friends and conversations linger long after the meal is over. This is exactly the type of restaurant that Diners, Drive-ins and Dives is known to showcase!! Please consider coming to Fayetteville, NC and visiting Gusto Napoletano Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria.
