I watch your show all the time and you have to check out Eli's BBQ in I watch your show all the time and you have to check out Eli's BBQ in Cincinnati, Ohio. There is nothing bad on the menu. The pulled pork, ribs, rib tips that need no sauce. The Carmelized brown sugar in the rub gives just the perfect hint of sweet. The griddle cooked mashed potatoes. The super creamy Mac and cheese. The jalapeño cornbread. The hot dogs are amazing too. BBQ sauce cole slaw and crisp pulled pork all on a perfectly cooked hot dog and soft bun.

I know there have been many different restaurants from Cincinnati featured on the show, but I haven't seen one where Eli's BBQ has been featured. This BBQ shack is right off of the river and has some lip smackin' good BBQ! This is probably the best BBQ I have ever eaten. It is a cash only place and they serve bottled pop in glass bottles instead of out of a pop dispenser. The atmosphere is fantastic and the place smells like smokey BBQ all of the time. When you come into the diner, you'll hear music being played from a record player. Customers can choose a vinyl to play and put it on the record player. When the song's done, another customer chooses another record and plays it. All in all, a FANTASTIC location for some superior quality BBQ!

The secret is getting out about Eli's.Maybe it's the tiny dining room, the BYOB rule, the old record player with a fantastic selection of vinyl picked and played by the guests, the outside tent covered dining area, the nearby park, but mostly it's the amazingly delicious barbecue (the huge pulled pork is always a winner) and sides (can you say jalapeno cheddar grits and "smashed browns" - mashed potatoes browned on a flat-top) that locals can't get enough of.
