"Venture into the heart of Livermore, CA"

Anonymous

Guy, Go just a few miles past your Johnny Garlics Restaurant in Dublin, CA and venture into the heart of Livermore, CA, a town once versed in rodeos and cow country and newly reinvented by local merchants and a little help by John Madden, who owns quite a few local locations, so they say. Our twin is the stem of the CA wine country, as 80% of Chardonnay in Napa originated from Livermore and Wente is the oldest and longest family owned continuous winery in CA. The new heart of Livermore is Sauced, a restaurant owned by two cousins and their families. On any given day you can see them at a back booth doing business with their children present, figuring out how to make a new and amazing business move to keep their dream going. All of the interior (roof, walls, lights, etc) is salvaged and shipped in from barns through Georgia and North Carolina. The food is beyond phenomenal and they drink list is above all. They have two types of Whisky on tap, yes, on tap from their giant barrels on the bar and over 70-100 distilleries and micro distillery spirits available. Live music on the weekends tops Sauced off as one of the most amazing and memorable food experiences around! You will not be disappointed! Try the "hand grenades" for an app, the Hill Billy Philly or the burnt ends sandwich as a main, any beer and shot for $8 (they have their own unique beers by their brewing co by the way) or a Gator-aid drink, which is divine. For dessert try a fried Oreo or any one of their amazing creations. Guy, let me know when you are local and if it's the first Wednesday of the month I'll have you join me at my Masonic Lodge down the street for a very memorable and free evening dinner. If you want to help me make the dinner for everyone that night (approx 30 people) let me know and you will have one hell of a time giving to the community, eating abs making good food and having a great personal experience. This invitation is out there for years and will not expire. I'm simply a good old Mason who enjoys eating good food, cooking amazing food and being inspired by your shows. Thanks Guy!! You rock!!!!!
