My wife and I have had BBQ from KC (all the big names, Gates, OK Joes, Bryant's, Smokin Guns, and Jack Stack) to Memphis (Charlie Vergo's Rendevous) to Ocean Springs (yep, The Shed), to name a few of our most memorable venues. One of the best, in our top three, is Pappy's Smokehouse in St. Louis (http://www.pappyssmokehouse.com/index.php). The ribs are not just off the chain brother, they are out of the collar. The brisket is perfectly smoked, tender and moist. And the Sweet Baby Jane sauce is not out of bounds, it is totally off the field. This place ain't dabomb, this is the whole freakin' arsenal.We live about 175 miles away and have taken a day trip with an overnight just to get sumadat smoke.Guy, do yourself a favor and spend a couple days in St. Lou and check out Pappy's.
