I'm recommending three spots on the same street in Panama Beach, FL
I'm actually recommending 3 local spots on the same street. Panama City Beach has a lot of tourist trap restaurants, but it just so happens that the 3 best places are only a mile from each other and incredibly, they all stay packed with locals!! We support all 3 equally and I suggest you do them ALL in one day... breakfast (Liza's Kitchen), lunch (Finn's Island Style Grub food truck), and dinner (Dat Cajun Place). Liza's Kitchen is run by a husband/wife who create ALL homemade sandwiches and specialty items (even make their own bread).. it is SO good and their weekend brunch is to die for! They've been so successful, they had to move to a larger location and they still stay packed! Finn's Island Style Grub is a stationary food truck with the most amazing fish tacos (and other stuff)! The flavors are so fresh and vibrant! Dat Cajun Place is the creation of a New Orleans Katrina victim that relocated in our area (thank God) and brough her amazing family recipes!! She's already had to move to a larger location AND expand that place to support her following! The homemade gumbo is the best ever... along with the random daily specials that she makes! Every Friday, they boil crawfish, shrimp, or crabs right outside on the deck! The live band is great and the owner's will make you feel like family! All 3 of the places are only 1 mile from each other (if that) and very well priced!! I take all my visiting friends and family and they're shocked at how cheap it is for HIGH QUALITY homemade food!! I'm blessed to live on the same street as these restaurants, but locals travel all the way across town for them! :) All 3 have websites that can be checked out!
