"The Pita House in Greenville, SC"
You have no restaurants in Greenville and there are many lore I am sure you could hit if you can't come just for one! The Pita House 495 Pleasantburg Road Greenville S.C. This place is as Authentic as it comes. Family owned for 26 years and everything is homemade! They even have a guy at the counter that could be the the "Soup Nazis" brother, hilarious and they only take cash! Homemade Pita, amazing Hummus, Shawarma, Lentils and Falafels cooked to perfection and the deserts, there are a ton a full case of them. Check the Trip Advisor Reviews and you will see. We drive all the way from Tryon N.C. to eat the food. There is also a great German Deli called the Deli Korneri in Spartanburg S.C. that is authentic with the owner in back making Hungarian Goulash Soup that she won't give the recipe for that makes me a Vegetarian even cross over to the Flesh side. Tons of Sausages, Cheeses and fresh Deserts( Strudel) and Breads. I watch probably 5 hours a week of your show and these places deserve your awesome enthusiasm for eating, whenever I get depressed all I have to do is turn on your show and die laughing while learning about all the great places to eat! Merry New Year and come visit I am a Yankee living here and these gems are worth the trip. Bye
