"Sazon Latino Restaurant in Boonton, NJ"
Guy, I have a place you'll go BANANAS for, and by bananas I mean they have GREAT platanos. And that's probably their weakest area when it comes to the selection. Boonton, NJ is an old, "blue collar", ex-industrial town that really had nothing to offer but a bar that served under age kids when i was in High School years ago. You can now go down Main Street and find a number of outstanding choices of cuisine ranging from Thai, to Jamaican mon, to Khazikstan, and authentic Latin food. The place is Sazon Latino and barely looks like a restaurant. They have everything from Braised Short Rib Soup, Beef Stew, Roasted Chicken, Fried Chicken, Empandas, Yucca, Regular Ribs, Pork Chops, Ridiculous Rice and Beans and a huge offering of pickled jalapenos and onions to add on top of your meal for a price that will make you tell your co-worker "I got this". I go there a couple times a week and have been slowly bringing my co-workers there because it's a great hidden gem. I am in banking right now, but being Sicilian I have been around food and restaurants my entire life and still work as a bartender on my day off so I know I'm still on point. Guy...Let's do a Jersey Blowout of kick ass restaurants!
