And I know that we're not the only ones - when you mention the mobil station in yosemite everyone knows where you're talking about. Can Pork Chops change your life? Yes, if you order them at Whoa Nellie Deli in Lee Vining, CA. A friend recommended we stop here before entering Yosemite and we are glad we did. The pork chops were so juicy and tender, the cranberry sauce on top was gorgeous and the potatoes and green beans were perfection. We were tempted to order the buffalo meat loaf but I went safe and ordered tacos. Rookie mistake. A man in the restaurant danced when his meatloaf landed on the window. This restaurant is located at the Mobil Station - quirky and cool just like the town of Lee Vining. Check it out. The chef Matt Toomey is clearly a food magician. We stopped for breakfast burritos next day before heading into the park, and ate the tasty, chock full of smoky bacon flavour burritos on the shore of Tenaya Lake, thanking the heavens above for this beautiful life we're living. Check it out, friends. Fans with a lotto love for DDD, Kim Goddard + Doug Devries.
