Son of Scaliwags in Algoma, WI
I recommend skaliwags in algoma, wi. They open at 4:30 p.m. daily and close after the last customer is served and finished eating their awesome food. People are on the street waiting for the door to open. They serve fresh seafood, steak and fish. The food tastes like something that could only be cooked in one of the finest restaurants. But is prepared in a space that is just barely enough room for the 2 chefs to get by eachother. Service and timing is awesome for the appearance of the diner vs the meal they place in front of you! Unbelievable!!! And to top off a great meal with cheesecake for dessert!! What a great way to start out our trip to Algoma for salmon fishing! Would be awesome if you'd check them out!

Never would I have imagined the quality of food in this quirky place in Algoma, Wisconsin. I’ve been there three times, all memorable, but this last time, I asked the owner whether I should have the blackened grouper or the sea bass. He made a half and half dinner for me - unbelievably delicious. You’ve GOT to go!

Skaliwags in Algoma, WI Skaliwags in Algoma, wi. I'm the sports reporter in Green Bay that covers the packers. For anyone that is a foody, skaliwags is a must! It's seafood in Wisconsin that tastes like its right out of the ocean. I'm from Malibu so I've experienced it. Come for a packers game but really come for the food!
