I want to recommend that you try alamo springs cafe for the best burgers and sides ever. I ate there when i visited TX back in April and its always packed and its in the middle of absolutely nowhere. here is their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/alamospringscafe?fref=ts, I definitely will be back on any of my visits to Fredricksburg, TX. The atmosphere is awesome and down to earth. You grab a drink and then wait to be seated. Everyone was soo friendly and I even heard they were named best burgers in TX
