Local Legend is Mitch's Tavern in Raleigh, NC

Guy!I live in Raleigh, NC. Not only is it a college town for the largest university in NC (NC State University), but one of the largest growing cities in the country. In the heart of NC State's campus is a small restaurant called Mitch's Tavern. Mitch's is a Raleigh legend. You enter from the sidewalk and climb up a creaky narrow stairwell to a magnificently dapper dining area, as well as bar. The place has been here for years. My father ate here when he was my age. It was also the restaurant they filmed a scene of Bull Durham at in the 1980's. It isn't just the atmosphere and history that's so great, but the food as well. The pulled pork burrito is out of this world. The London broil sandwich, and gumbo are killer too. The great thing is how inexpensive it is. Not a single entree costs more than $10! You have to look into this place because I highly recommend you making a stop here. Thanks!TJ
