Revolutionario North African Taco in Los Angeles, CA

Revolutionario North African Tacos 1436 W Jefferson Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90007 This place is AMAZING! This new taco place just opened up near USC and serves both the locals and the students alike. The guy who owns, operates, and cooks the food is named Zadi. The dude smokes his own meat for hours ON THE SIDEWALK! I was just there and ordered a Smoked Lamb Quesadilla. It's just a tortilla, some melted cheese, and a massive pile of lamb on top of it. As i was walking past Zadi on my way out (he was smoking some more lamb) He says to me "Oh you got the lamb? Next time get the goat, I just finished smoking some and it's really good". And I'll be getting it next time, because this genius could smoke a rock and make it fall apart at the touch of a fork. The meat is succulent, juicy, and tender. They make their own drinks, like watermelon lemonade, which is to die for. And to top it all off, for desert, Zadi whips up the meanest churro puff you will ever taste. This place is incredible, and if people knew of it's existance, there would lines our the door to eat this man's food. But because it's in kind of a weird area of town, not a lot of people know to go looking out there. No joke, the way he gets new customers is by smoking meat on the sidewalk. There was one other woman in African Tacos while i was in there. She says, "I was on my way home and came in here because the smell was too good to pass up " Revolutionario North African Tacos is the BOMB! It needs to be on Triple D!

Check out Revolutionario north african tacos in Los Angeles, just a fe Check out Revolutionario north african tacos in Los Angeles, just a few blocks away from USC. Chef Zadi is putting together some out of this world tacos, burritos, briks, tagines, quesadillas, and more. With just a couple of small smokers in the side alley, Zadi's making killer brisket barbacoa, lamb, and even goat. He rounds the menu out with cilantro yogurt chicken, duck hash, pozole, and shakshouka. And for dessert, help yourself to churro puffs (you've never eaten a churro like this, it's the offspring of a classic churro and a beignet). It's a family-run place, where zadi's wife and son help out in the kitchen and at the register. Sharing a building with a church, down the street from a korean church, and across the street from a hardware store and a tire and wheel repair center, Revolutionary is anything but ordinary around here. After only a couple of months in business, the neighborhood is buzzing about Revolutionario, and Zadi's bringing in customers from around the University Park neighborhood and beyond to try out the wild tacos they keep hearing about.
