Hi Guy, This bar-b-que place in Tehachapi is amazing! My husband is a serious Bar-B-Que cook; and he wants to visit as do I; every time we are near here. The ribs are amazing; I love the honey Bourbon and my husband loves the spicy sauce. The sides too; Mac and cheese; Cole slaw; pot beans; and sweet potato fries are so good! Friendly owners. And staff; just a feel good finger licking place! Needs to be recognized😎 Rhonda McBride/Artist [email protected]

I don't agree. the red house bbq is not your typical bbq house. if anything the food is dry and overcooked. plus you shall see how well this owner handles criticism. click on the below link that will direct you to yelp and look for the negative review and how he handles criticism https://www.yelp.com/biz/red-house-bbq-tehachapi?start=140

Hey guy, You really need to check out RED HOUSE BBQ in Tehachapi, CA. Hey guy, You really need to check out RED HOUSE BBQ in Tehachapi, CA. Mano Lujan (native American Indian) and his wife Mei Mei are the owners of this place and THE SHED (formerly THE APPLE SHED) across the street. Their awesome pork ribs, chicken, catfish, brisket, Indian fry bread, Indian tacos, etc. are all excellent. Their sides like their Apache Chili, cornbread, red slaw, etc. are also excellent. All their food is handcrafted and made fresh every day. No microwave oven at this place. They have a "Native Day" each month and feature their special gigantic Rib Of The Beast for the dinner crowd. Check them out!!!

We've got this amazing joint here called the Red House BBQ that features some killer and authentic barbecue. The menu changes everyday based on what cuts of meat they get from the local butcher. Not to mention their suuuper cool Native American theme; teepee tents, bonfires, and all around good vibes. You've got to check this place out!
