You need to make your way over to Epic Deli in Johnsburg Illinois. Thi You need to make your way over to Epic Deli in Johnsburg Illinois. This is one of the best places I have ever been! They have all these creative sandwiches. My husbands favorite is the Doritowich which has ham, cheddar, provolone and Doritos on top. They have awesome hot dogs my favorite is the Boston dog with pastram, swiss cheese, and coleslaw and the loaded spuds with cheese, bacon, and deep fried jalapeno rings. This will be a stop you won't regret and leave with a happy tummy!

Italian beef, cheddar cheese, bacon, Fries brown gravy and topped with Wisconsin Cheese Curds. Not everyone knows about this place even though they have been around for awhile, but of those people that do there is not one person that doesn't walk out of there with their minds not blown away by the great food. I was introduced to this deli last year and was like, "Hey, I should tell Guy about this place". I only need to add to comments already in place!! This establishment is fantastic!! Come on, there are not many places (at least around here) that will name a tasty sandwich after you or have multiple challenges at delicious prices. You HAVE to check this place out. It's Epic.

I was like, yeah, yeah. Today he brought home some sandwiches....wow! I had this pulled port, pickle concoction, he had a killer blt and my husband had an Italian beef. These sound pretty normal, but they are from it. I can't even put into words the flavors and textures of these things. Just yum!

Epic deli in Johnsburg Illinois is one of those places that if you live within a 30 mile radius, and you tell someone that you've never been there, they practically slap you in the fave because of the disbelief that you've missed out on something so spectacular up until that point in your life. Epic deli is known by every food junkie that you would come into contact with in the greater Lake County area. The menu is made up of the most unique sandwiches, that after you eat one, you just want to hug the person that created it, because they gave your stomach an immeasurable amount of joy. The atmosphere is warm, and welcoming, and I would love to see the people that created this magical place have something as amazing as their food happen to them.
