Guisados in Los Angeles, CA
Guisados has the most authentic tacos in LA! I had the privilege of working there as a Berkeley student, and now I’m back to college. As a SoCal native, I’ve tried a lot of tacos. The best kind are the ones with shredded carnitas or chopped up carne asada, onion and cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. But Guisados is something different. As the name implies, You’ll find braised meats you can’t find anywhere else in LA, like the mole poblano or the cochinita pibil. It’s the Hispanic equivalent of Grandma’s cooking. If you’re feeling adventerous, you can try the sampler platter, where you can taste 6 tacos on mini tortillas. i promise you will find that Guisados belongs in flavortown. Catch you on Triple D!
