Stardust Dounut Shop - 698 CA-75, Imperial Beach, CA 91932 Back when I was too young to remember, my parents would drive from Coronado Island to Imperial Beach early in the morning to get these donuts. After we moved away from California, my parents talked about how good these donuts were quite frequently. Over a decade later, a trip back to California led to me having the opportunity to finally try one of these donuts - and, incredibly, it lived up to ten+ years of my parents talking the shop up. And I'm not even a person who likes donuts. These donuts are sweet but not too sweet and absolutely melt in your mouth. Any of the donuts are quite delicious, but the raspberry bismarck is my favorite. It kind of looks like a fair stand stuck in the middle of a parking lot, so it's definitely a kind of place that'd fit on your show. I'd suggest checking it out sooner than later though; the owner is an older man and I don't know how much longer he'll be sticking around. There's also a taco stand right next door to Stardust that is also surprisingly delicious.
