Midway BBQ in Buffalo, SC
The food at Midway BBQ is so good it’ll make you slap your Grandma. They have been cooking bbq and country food here since 1941 and one of the main cooks has been here for over 60 years. The chicken stew, fried okra and BBQ hash is unbelievably good with the liver and onions and ribs running a close second. It’s a meat market/ BBQ joint that serves over 1000 people a day. Sawdust floors and fatback and cornbread all day everyday! The owner, Jay Allen is second generation. His father-in-law started cooking in 1941 in his backyard and it’s still going strong.

Great BBQ and a wonderful meat and three veggies, their also have a meat market inside the restaurant. Great place too go and responsible priced. Great down home place.!!!!
